This piece of classic lepidolite and pink tourmaline is from the Stewart Lithium Mine in southern California.  Beautiful pale lavender lepidolite filled with bursts of  pink tourmaline.  This material is difficult to find on the open market since the 1990′s when new owners bought the mine.  Lepidolite, as well as tourmaline, both contain lithium.
